Homo Sapiens is dual by nature. I firmly believe in our innate capacity for dualism, a unique characteristic that defines us as human beings. We possess the extraordinary gift of consciousness, allowing us to be not only aware of our existence but also to embrace our inherent free will.
In my artistic and life journey, I've chosen to navigate the delicate balance between cultivating the luminous and sublimating the shadowy aspects of our nature. Through a process that transcends the confines of linear time, I immerse myself in a state akin to meditation, allowing my paintings to be born from the flow of creativity.
Seven years of Yoga practice have endowed me with the ability to manage my attention, plunging me into a unique meditative state devoid of distractions—no judgments, no criticisms, no condemnations, no fear. It is in this profound state of undisturbed creation that my experiences and energies converge, channeled entirely into the act of artistic manifestation.
My artistic journey has also granted me access to the subconscious realm, enabling me to employ the technique of automatic drawing. With each stroke and line, I delve deeper into the recesses of my own psyche, transcending the boundaries of the conscious mind.
Through my artwork I would like to sanctify the profound facets of existence, guiding both myself and the viewer toward happiness and self-realization. These facets encompass the acceptance of free will, the intricacies of our relationships with both ourselves and the world around us, the illumination of consciousness and awareness, the deep sense of the Divine and our connection to it, and the recognition of our individuality as an integral part of the universe with the power to influence it on multiple levels.
In my art, I seek to celebrate the symphony of dualities that define us as Homo Sapiens, reminding us of our capacity for enlightenment and transformation, ultimately guiding us toward a deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the universe.
Currently, I employ a range of mediums to convey these messages:
Linen, canvas, oil, acrylics, energy, oil pastels.
